The KryptoMax® anti-ligature stainless steel collapsible safety hook sets the standard for anti-ligature hooks. The anti-ligature safety feature is enabled with 2 neoprene friction washers allowing the hook to hold intended materials, but safely collapses downward if more than ~26 lbs. of weight is applied.

STAINLESS STEEL ANTI-LIGATURE COLLAPSIBLE SAFETY HOOK
G2’s KryptoMax® stainless steel anti-ligature collapsible safety hook is built with a 10 gauge formed stainless steel bracket. The hook is 7 gauge stamped stainless steel.
The collapsing safety feature is enabled with two (2) neoprene friction washers. This allows the hook to hold clothing, but collapse if additional weight is added, for safe, anti-ligature design.
The collapsible safety hook has a curved profile for additional safety, aid removal of material, and prevent snagging. A tamper-resistant bolt secures the hook to prevent removal from assembly.
These collapsible safety hooks are ready to mount to a wall, locker, stud, or other solid surface (concrete, block, brick and stone base materials).
Our stainless steel anti-ligature hook is available pre-installed on a stainless steel rack assembly integrated with a built-in shelf. Other configurations integrated with the collapsing safety hook are available to be customized for your requirements.

ANTI-LIGATURE FEATURE:
These stainless steel anti-ligature hooks are ideal for use as towel hangers in areas where safety is a paramount concern. The hook is designed to collapse as weight is applied to prevent accidents or strangulation. When installed with tamper-resistant hardware, the collapsible safety hook offers a secure solution in critical areas such as shower rooms, patient care vestibules, examination rooms, and sleeping areas…any area requiring anti-ligature or other precautions.
The collapsing feature activates when approximately 26 lbs (approximately 12 kg) of weight is applied. This allows for hanging of dry or wet towels, clothing, or other materials. However, the hook will collapse when a greater weight is applied or hung from the hook. The hook collapses downward to release a heavier item.
Used primarily where ligature or strangulation attempts are of particular concern. The hook will collapse down under pressure thus releasing ligature material when the collapsible safety hook is attempted to be used in such a manner.
INSTALLATION:
The mounting bracket has two (2) quarter inch (1/4″) holes ready for mounting with regular or tamper-resistant bolts and concrete anchors.
